Hex
Bolts are only partially threaded unlike a Setscrew which
is fully threaded. The normal amount of thread for a Hex Bolt
is 2 x dia + 6mm/1/4"
For example, an M16 Bolt has (2x16)+6mm = 38mm thread.
Bolts can be stronger under stres sthan Setscrews since the
thread into produces a weak point for Setscrews.
